About Digital Technology at United United’s Digital Technology team brings together talented professionals who design, build, and maintain large-scale, innovative technology solutions. Using modern architectures, advanced analytics, and digital platforms, the team plays a critical role in shaping one of the world’s most advanced airline technology ecosystems. Role Overview As an Associate Engineer – Digital Technology, you will support and enhance technology systems that enable secure, scalable, and reliable operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, automation, and containerized environments, while working closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, and IT. Key Responsibilities Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar Support cloud infrastructure provisioning and management on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Collaborate with developers and QA teams to automate workflows and improve software delivery Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell Assist with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes Participate in troubleshooting deployment, environment, and infrastructure issues Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps and operational processes Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps concepts Exposure to version control systems such as Git Familiarity with Linux/Unix command line and basic shell scripting Interest in learning and working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Internship or academic project experience in DevOps, cloud computing, or system administration Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with CI/CD automation tools and pipelines Experience or exposure to Harness platform implementation Additional Information This position is offered on local terms and conditions.
