⭐ Key Responsibilities
As a Back-End Software Engineer, you will:
Represent the Software Center of Excellence by promoting high standards in design, architecture, and development.
Collaborate with system engineers, frontend teams, and other backend engineers to build and enhance platform-wide features.
Apply SDLC best practices including Agile, Lean, XP, CI/CD, code reviews, security reviews, and automated testing.
Develop clean, efficient, and scalable backend code using the approved tech stack.
Implement features such as web services, APIs, database queries, and backend logic with a focus on performance.
Build and maintain enterprise integration flows using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Develop and support low-code applications using MS PowerApps.
Improve system reliability through incident reduction, simplification, security reinforcement, and continuous optimization.
⭐ Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1+ year of experience in backend development.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, GraphQL, JMS, JUnit.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and core Java concepts.
Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker.
Experience applying design patterns and best practices in large-scale backend systems.
Hands-on experience with performance optimization, scalability improvements, and secure authentication/authorization.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
Experience with databases and ORM tools: SQL, JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, Spring Data.
Experience with version control and build tools like Git, Maven.
Awareness of cloud platforms and modern cloud services.
Strong communication and teamwork skills with fluency in English.
