About the Role

AutomotiveMastermind, part of S&P Global Mobility, is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join its fast-growing engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to building and enhancing cloud-native, data-driven applications that power predictive analytics and marketing automation for automotive dealerships across the U.S.

You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance software solutions using React.js and .NET Core.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React.js for the frontend and .NET Core (C#) for backend services.

Build and integrate RESTful APIs to ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Work within a cloud-native environment to deploy, monitor, and scale applications (preferably on GCP).

Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams in an Agile setup.

Contribute to architectural discussions with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.

Stay current with emerging technologies to continuously improve product quality and capabilities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

2–3 years of professional experience in software development.

Strong experience with React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

Solid backend development experience using .NET Core and C#.

Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.

Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL.

Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Experience with version control tools such as Git and platforms like Azure DevOps.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have

Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub).

Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Experience working in multi-functional, multi-location teams.
