Role Overview
As a Software Engineer – Data Analytics at Zoom, you will be at the forefront of AI innovation, contributing to the development and enhancement of AI algorithms and data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with experienced researchers and engineers to build scalable applications that leverage Zoom's robust data platform. Your expertise will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business growth.

Zoom is redefining the way people collaborate. Our Data Platform Engineering team is expanding, and we are looking for talented professionals to help us develop next-generation data-driven solutions. You will work alongside data experts, developing applications that harness the power of Zoom’s data infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance AI algorithms and data analytics solutions for Zoom’s AI Companion product.
Design and build end-to-end data products while ensuring security, authentication, and scalability.
Develop and maintain APIs (REST, GraphQL) with a focus on performance and documentation.
Implement authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, SAML) and build secure authorization systems.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
Utilize containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable applications.
Implement automated software testing to ensure product quality.
Develop web applications using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in at least one compiled language (Java, C++, or Go).
Experience in designing scalable data-driven applications.
Hands-on experience with API development and best practices.
Proficiency in cloud-based technologies and infrastructure management.
Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
Strong understanding of security best practices, including authentication and authorization protocols.
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and solve complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with big data technologies such as Spark or Kafka.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Previous experience in AI/ML or data engineering is a plus.
