Overview of the Role
Infogain is currently seeking skilled QA Automation Engineers as part of their Off Campus Drive 2024. This position is open to candidates with a strong background in automation testing who are eager to work in a dynamic, innovative environment. - Experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and Maintain Testing Frameworks
   - Design, develop, and manage automated testing frameworks using popular tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber.
   - Implement testing processes to identify bugs and improve overall software quality.

2. Automation and Continuous Integration
   - Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless software deployment and continuous testing.
   - Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline the CI/CD process.

3. Software Quality Assurance
   - Conduct thorough testing of applications, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
   - Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure product features are working as expected.

4. Bug Tracking and Documentation
   - Document and report issues accurately, maintaining clear communication with team members.
   - Ensure all testing activities and results are well-documented for future reference and process improvement.

Core Skills and Competencies
- Software Testing Methodologies: Proficient in various testing methodologies and strategies.
- Automation Tools: Expertise with test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber.
- Programming Languages: Solid knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing and maintaining test scripts.
- CI/CD Familiarity: Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices, allowing smooth and regular updates to applications.
- SDET Skills: Ability to function effectively as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), with additional skills in automated testing frameworks and API testing.

Additional Skills
- Spring Boot Microservices: Familiarity with microservices architectures using Spring Boot.
- Redux Saga: Experience with Redux Saga for managing complex state and side effects in applications.
- API Testing: Proficiency in testing APIs to ensure the robustness of backend integrations.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, test automation, and software testing.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and automation tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
