We are seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer I to join our dynamic engineering team at Honeywell. In this hybrid development role, you will work on cutting-edge applications using Java and modern frontend frameworks to build scalable, cloud-ready solutions that impact industries globally.

As a developer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy secure and high-performance applications. If you’re enthusiastic about solving real-world problems through clean code and innovative design, we want to hear from you!

🛠️ Core Responsibilities

• 🔹 Backend Development

• Build and maintain microservices using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Apply software design patterns for scalable architecture.
• Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.

• Contribute to sprint planning, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.

🔹 Frontend Development

1. Develop interactive user interfaces using ReactJS or equivalent modern JavaScript frameworks.
2. Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth front-back communication.
3. Maintain responsive and accessible web components.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 1–2 years of hands-on experience in backend and/or frontend development.
3. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, REST architecture, and testing frameworks.
4. Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

💡 Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

1. Prior experience in cloud-native application development, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
2. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
3. Understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization.
