Role Overview

Paytm is looking for a motivated and detail-focused HR Operations Intern to support its Employee Onboarding Team. In this role, you will help create a smooth and welcoming onboarding journey for new employees while gaining hands-on exposure to core HR operations and cross-functional collaboration.

This internship is ideal for candidates who want to build a strong foundation in HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and people processes.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome new employees on their first day and assist them throughout the onboarding process.

Support HR teams in organizing orientation sessions, preparing presentations, and facilitating onboarding activities.

Manage joining formalities, including documentation, policy acknowledgments, and compliance requirements.

Maintain and update employee records in both physical files and digital HR systems.

Coordinate with internal teams such as IT, Payroll, Finance, and Hiring Managers to ensure timely setup of employee access, devices, and credentials.

Track onboarding progress, new joiner status, and probation timelines using internal trackers.

Handle confidential employee information with accuracy, integrity, and discretion.

Share insights and suggest improvements to enhance the onboarding experience.

Eligibility & Skills

Education

MBA in Human Resources (preferred)

Graduates in BBA, BA, or related fields may be considered for exceptional profiles

Required Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace

Good interpersonal skills with a positive and professional attitude

High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines

Respect for confidentiality and sensitive employee data
