Job Description

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer – Java to contribute to projects and initiatives involving technology development, deployment, and upgrades.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Java, along with experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in moderately complex technology initiatives, including system installations, upgrades, and deployments.

Identify and implement improvements in service quality and availability within the technology environment.

Design, develop, test, debug, and document software applications for assigned projects.

Analyze technical challenges and evaluate alternative technology solutions for effective resolution.

Provide technical recommendations to resolve issues and escalate matters when necessary to meet service level agreements.

Develop an understanding of security and compliance requirements within the given technology domain.

Collaborate with technology teams, internal partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in software engineering, demonstrated through work experience, training, military background, or education.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Technology or Engineering.

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java.
Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions from vendors such as SailPoint, IBM-ISIM, or Saviynt is a plus.

Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, XML, with expertise in SCIM and REST APIs.

Ability to design and integrate IAM solutions with existing infrastructure.

Certifications related to IAM tools are highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of information security concepts and IAM tools.

Familiarity with Linux, Tomcat, Oracle, SQL Server, and other relational database management systems.

Experience working in Agile or Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies.

Banking industry knowledge is a plus.
