Job Description
Labcorp is seeking a Software Automation Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our Angular-based web applications through automated testing frameworks.
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium and Cucumber, while also integrating them into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment. This position provides an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates passionate about software automation, testing strategies, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Cucumber to validate application functionality.
Test Planning & Execution: Participate in test planning activities to define test scope and execute automated test cases across multiple browsers and platforms.
Defect Identification & Debugging: Detect and document software defects with clear reproduction steps and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
Regression Testing: Implement and maintain automated regression test suites to ensure application stability after every update.
Continuous Integration & Deployment: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git to enable automated build verification.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to enforce best practices in test automation and participate in code reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on experience or knowledge in test automation frameworks using Selenium and Cucumber.
Proficiency in Java or JavaScript for scripting automated test cases.
Familiarity with Angular-based applications and web development technologies.
Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with additional test automation tools.
Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles.
Exposure to performance testing and API testing frameworks.
