Role Overview
KLA is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join its world-class software team. As a QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of KLA’s industry-leading products. You will play a crucial role in validating advanced features, including those built on AI/ML algorithms, and will contribute to the automation strategy for seamless continuous integration and testing.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as a full-stack test engineer for software used in KLA products.

Design, develop, and execute test cases for new and existing software features (functional, regression, performance, and reliability).

Focus on test automation: develop and integrate automated test scripts into CI pipelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional global teams across Algorithms, Systems Engineering, Application Engineering, and Customer Support.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including deployment and support at customer sites.

Occasionally travel to client fabrication facilities to understand real-world use cases and troubleshoot issues.

Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

Practical experience with at least one web and one API automation tool (e.g., Selenium, CodedUI, QTP, Cucumber, Playwright, Postman)

Strong grasp of software testing methodologies and best practices

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

Willingness to travel and work with global teams

Understanding of semiconductor industry or IC processing is a plus

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or tools is an added advantage
