As part of a cross-functional team, you will contribute to innovative testing solutions and automation frameworks while ensuring our products meet business requirements and deliver superior user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement robust test strategies and plans for validating software functionality, performance, and security.
Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Playwright, Karate BDD, and Cucumber.
Execute both manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
Identify automation opportunities and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure thorough coverage of test cases.
Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter or HP LoadRunner.
Contribute to System Integration Testing (SIT) through automation and troubleshooting.
Maintain high standards of documentation, ensuring proper archiving of test artifacts and results.
Analyze, report, and assist in resolving bugs and issues during testing cycles.
Promote best practices in QA and automation and support a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech/ME/MTech) or related technical field.
Strong hands-on experience with manual testing and browser/mobile-based QA.
Proficiency in developing automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, Karate BDD.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and build tools (Maven).
Solid experience in testing REST/SOAP APIs and using tools like Postman, RestAssured, and SoapUI.
Exposure to SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN.
Experience using test management and tracking tools like JIRA.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile development cycles.
Additional Skills (Preferred but not Mandatory)
Experience in strategic test planning and automation architecture.
Familiarity with Protractor, JUnit, or similar test frameworks.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Willingness to support critical projects outside regular hours if needed.
Exposure to software quality metrics and reporting.
