Description:
Strong in Networking domain – L2/L3 protocols, IPv6, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, IGMP, VLAN, Wireless, OSPF
Expertise in features like Firewall, Good Wireless Knowledge (802.11xx), QOS, Multicasting, Channel Bonding. Should have expertise in hands-on knowledge in these areas
Expertise in QA activities –test case development, test execution, test reporting.
Hands-on testing experience on various Modem/MTA/Gateway/Router is mandatory. Should have expertise in debugging issues and in providing support to the SW team
Test tools & Traffic generators – expertise in hands-on setup and subsequent usage for test purposes including tweaking the tools for the requirements of testing.
Should be able to independently handle bring-up of individual setups of networking/video infrastructure/setup.
Test development and execution of DOCSIS Modems, Routers and Gateways.
