Job Description:

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic engineer with higher education in electrical engineering or computer engineering or similar. The candidate should be passionate for technology and enjoy technical challenges ranging from software & firmware to hardware on both printed circuit board and microchip (integrated circuits) level. Test instrumentation, measurement techniques and tests automation are key areas of this position. It is also desirable with good understanding of low power MCU architecture, both digital and analog aspects.

Key responsibilities:

Test case implementation and automation

Test data management, analysis and presentation

Participate in debug sessions and provide measurement data for root cause analysis

FPGA prototyping and pre-silicon validation

Technical documentation authoring

Participate in cross functional technical reviews

Infrastructure development for our automated silicon characterization platform which consist of hardware, device/instruments drivers, software toolchains, frameworks, libraries and databases

Implement and develop work processes to scale efficiently and ensure high product quality

Close cooperation with existing IoT MCU Validation teams in other locations, with IC design engineers and SW/FW developers

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: B.S or M.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering

Skills Required:

Required Experience & Skills:

Strong software development and architecture skills (Python, C# or similar)

Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment, measurement techniques and test automation

Firmware development skills (C and/or assembly language)

Strong analog and digital circuit analysis skills

Excellent troubleshooting and debug skills

Self-driven with a strong work ethic and sense of accountability

Preferred Experience & Skills:

Knowledge of ARM/8051 architectures and typical MCU peripherals

Experience with schematics capture and layout tools (Allegro/Altium/PADS)

Post-silicon validation experience

Exposure to security standards and security testing

Personal profile:
