🔍 Role Overview
NIIT is seeking a Software Engineer I with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, Linux systems, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will support cloud-based environments, automate infrastructure, and contribute to reliable, scalable, and secure system operations.
This role is suited for professionals who are goal-oriented, technically strong, and eager to grow in cloud and DevOps technologies.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
Manage and administer Linux-based systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
Write and maintain shell and Python scripts for automation
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
Monitor system performance and availability using CloudWatch and Grafana
Configure and manage AWS networking components including VPC, Subnets, Route 53, and Load Balancers
Ensure security best practices using AWS services like IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, WAF, and Security Hub
Support cloud delivery models: IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS

🧠 Required Skills & Experience
1–3 years of experience in Cloud / DevOps / Infrastructure Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, VPC, RDS
CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SNS, SES
IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, WAF, Config
Solid understanding of Linux system administration
Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
Knowledge of Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
Understanding of cloud networking and monitoring concepts

🎓 Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science or a related field
