Description:
Barclays is seeking an Automation Tester to join their team in Pune. The role involves striving for 100% automated tests, collating evidence for test automation progress reporting and tracking, and articulating test execution details, data used, results, and defects to project stakeholders. The Automation Tester will be responsible for testing various MCAs developed for services in BUK.

Responsibilities:
As an Automation Tester at Barclays, you will:
- Participate in discussions with the functional team to understand the gherkin tests along with required pre and post conditions.
- Create query logs and automation code using Java, Selenium, JQuery, and Cucumber independently.
- Enhance the repository and framework to enable other team members to work on automation scripting.
- Communicate and follow up with stakeholders to track deliverables during test automation and dry-run phases. Escalate issues to the LM as appropriate.
- Complete tasks and deliverables within schedule constraints.
- Provide guidance to other team members on technology and application queries.

What We're Looking For:
- Exposure to automation testing using Selenium, Java, Cucumber, and API automation.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Gradle, Jenkins setup, and some banking domain exposure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to impact assess critical and complex test automation problems.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Retail Banking domain with knowledge of test automation.
- BE/MCA with IT experience in Software Testing.
