HP Hiring Freshers for Patch Management

Position: HP Hiring Freshers for Patch Management -

Experience: Freshers (0-2 Years)

Education: Any Graduate

Salary: Expected Rs 5-6 LPA




- Technical Knowledge: Apply evolving technical knowledge (e.g., SAP, Java, .NET) to resolve application issues with limited risk/complexity. Integrate technical expertise and business understanding to create effective solutions for HP and customers.


- Incident Management: Independently resolve routine in-scope technical incidents. Collaborate with team members for more complex incidents. Document known errors and workarounds.


- Escalation Management: Identify and address escalations following defined policies.


- Change Management/Implementation: Implement changes/solutions under general direction to meet customer needs within the technical responsibility area. Understand and escalate scope changes per change control process.


- Configuration Management: Ensure completeness and accuracy of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) entries.


- Solution Design: Understand the HP solutions set and apply these solutions to meet customer needs within the designated responsibility area.


- Quality: Offer continual improvement recommendations for the direct responsibility area (process improvement, technical standard updates, etc.).


- Customer Relationship Management: Set expectations with customers and/or internal businesses/end users within defined parameters.


- Teamwork: Collaborate as part of a potentially virtual and/or global team.


- Contract Knowledge: Demonstrate basic understanding of business contracts to support and meet contractual metrics and obligations in the area of responsibility.


- Capacity and Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance checkpoints.


- Business Continuity: Execute recovery actions.

Education and Experience Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- 0-2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of relevant experience with a 2-year post-high school degree.


Knowledge and Skills:

- Developing understanding of applications technology in the direct responsibility area.

- Developing general understanding of related technologies.

- Developing ITIL Process knowledge.

- Developing customer service skills.
