Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer I to join our Testing and Validation team. This role is ideal for engineers with strong fundamentals in manual and automation testing, hands-on coding skills, and exposure to AI-driven technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software through effective validation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Define and document test requirements for moderately complex features

Analyze software processes, test results, and report findings to stakeholders

Validate software functionality and recommend improvements

Design and develop automation frameworks and scripts using Python, Android Java, or C#

Create and maintain test plans for new and existing features

Review feature changes and ensure adequate test coverage

Apply appropriate testing techniques and judgment to solve automation challenges

Explore and apply AI-based testing approaches and modern validation techniques

Collaborate effectively with development and product teams

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Systems, ECE, EEE, or equivalent

1+ year of industry experience in software testing and validation

Strong coding skills in Python, Android Java, or C#

Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing

Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC

Exposure to AI or AI-assisted testing tools

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

1–2 years of professional experience in software engineering or testing roles

Ability to analyze data and apply quantitative reasoning to problem solving

Experience working with modern tools and technologies in test automation
