Akamai is looking for a passionate and skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join its enterprise security team. You’ll be involved in building robust, scalable, and automated test frameworks and ensure the highest quality for our Zero Trust security solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain end-to-end automation tests using Python (80%)

• Perform manual testing when necessary (20%)

• Collaborate across teams to design test plans and implement test strategies

• Analyze and resolve software issues through debugging and root-cause analysis

• Work in agile, fast-paced environments delivering secure and reliable products

• Support threat protection and micro-segmentation solutions

You’re a Great Fit If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• 1+ year experience in Python development

• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments

• Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and REST APIs

• Experience with databases and SQL

• Good grasp of client-server architectures
