Job Overview:

Miko is seeking a skilled Localization QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. This role involves working closely with AI and robotics engineers, UX designers, product managers, and technical program managers to ensure the highest standards in product quality and localization. You will play a crucial role in refining linguistic accuracy, UI/UX alignment, and voice AI outputs across multiple languages.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct functional and linguistic testing to ensure accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and cultural nuances.

Evaluate UI/UX elements for proper alignment, truncation issues, and readability in the localized language.

Assess voice AI, speech recognition, and text-to-speech (TTS) outputs for natural pronunciation and fluency.

Collaborate with content teams, developers, and speech engineers to identify and resolve localization issues.
Execute structured test cases and exploratory testing to validate localized features.

Ensure content aligns with cultural expectations and market preferences.

Document, track, and report localization defects with actionable recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Localization, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum of 2+ years in localization QA or software testing, preferably in a multilingual/global setting.

Proficiency in at least one foreign language with a strong grasp of cultural and linguistic nuances.

Solid understanding of localization, internationalization, and globalization processes.

Experience using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
