Job Description:

Sandvine is seeking a Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and professionals with up to two years of experience who are passionate about software development, networking, and data-driven technologies. As a Software Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge solutions, leverage programming and scripting skills, and troubleshoot real-world production issues. You will also have the opportunity to work with networking protocols, machine learning, and cloud-based solutions while contributing to innovative software projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain high-performance software solutions using C/C++, Java, Go, or similar languages.

Utilize Python, Ruby, Bash, or other scripting languages for automation and data processing.

Debug and troubleshoot production and test environments to ensure software reliability.

Work with open protocol standards like Diameter and REST APIs for seamless integration.

Use Git/GitHub for version control to manage software development workflows.

Gain exposure to data science and machine learning techniques, including regression, classification, decision trees, model evaluation, and hyperparameter tuning.

Work with Linux system configuration, Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) for optimized software deployment.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 0-2 years of experience in software development.

Required Technical Skills:

Strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, Go, or equivalent languages.

Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or Bash.

Knowledge of networking protocols and web services.

Experience with version control tools (Git/GitHub) for collaborative development.

Basic understanding of data modeling, machine learning algorithms, and cloud-based technologies.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

Hands-on experience with machine learning models, feature extraction, and cross-validation techniques.
