As a Software Engineer specializing in R programming, you will be part of the Data Systems Engineering team. Your role will focus on building scalable data solutions, creating impactful visualizations, and supporting analytical workflows.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Develop clear and engaging data visualizations to present economic insights to diverse audiences

• Build reusable R functions and packages to streamline analysis and automation

• Create analytical reports using R Markdown or Quarto

• Design and develop scalable Shiny applications

• Work on interactive dashboards using tools like Plotly, Highcharts, or D3.js

• Collaborate with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js when required

• Manage and analyze data using SQL and data platforms like Hadoop

• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code

• Use Git for version control and team collaboration

🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in R programming and tools like RStudio or Positron IDE

• Hands-on experience with R libraries such as dplyr for data manipulation

• Familiarity with documentation and package management tools like roxygen2

• Experience working with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket

• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Passion for data, coding, and technology

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
