Are you passionate about software quality, automation, and building zero-defect applications? Akamai is looking for a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join its IT DevOps SDET team.

🔹 What You’ll Do

As an SDET, you will work on testing complex enterprise applications and distributed systems while building and improving automated testing frameworks.

Your responsibilities will include:

☑ Develop and execute automated test suites for API, database, integration, and performance testing.

✅ Design test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases based on business requirements.

✅ Build and enhance Python-based automation frameworks.

✅ Perform end-to-end integration testing across multiple platforms and applications.

✅ Analyze logs, investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, and improve software reliability.

✅ Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and Management.

✅ Use tools such as Jenkins, Git, JIRA/ALM, Unix/Linux, Python, and SQL.

✅ Help deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality enterprise applications.

🔹 Required Skills

🎓 B.Tech / MCA or equivalent

💼 1–3 years of QA/SDET experience

🐍 Strong knowledge of Python automation and testing frameworks

🗄️ Good understanding of SQL and database testing

🔌 Experience with API and integration testing

☁️ Exposure to cloud ERP/CRM platforms such as Oracle HCM, Oracle Financials, or Salesforce is a plus

🔧 Knowledge of Jenkins, Git, JIRA/ALM, and Linux/Unix commands

🧠 Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills

📋 Good understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and testing methodologies
