🔹 Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior SQL Server Database Consultant to join our Enterprise Applications Support team. The selected candidate will work closely with clients and stakeholders across the United States, handling database development, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and application support.

The role involves building reliable database solutions, improving query performance, maintaining production systems, and ensuring database stability, scalability, and efficiency.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain SQL Server database objects and complex T-SQL queries.
• Create and optimize stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, CTEs, temporary tables, and dynamic SQL scripts.
• Analyze execution plans, identify performance bottlenecks, and improve query efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver reliable resolutions.
• Design scalable relational database schemas while following normalization and data integrity principles.
• Translate business requirements into secure and efficient database solutions.
• Collaborate with US-based clients and cross-functional teams on technical requirements, deployments, and releases.
• Provide technical guidance, progress updates, and ongoing application support.

🔹 Required Skills

• 3–4 years of professional experience in Microsoft SQL Server development and database fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL, complex queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers.
• Hands-on experience with SQL query optimization, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.
• Understanding of relational database design, normalization, schemas, and primary and foreign keys.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to work with consistent US Eastern Time (ET) business-hour overlap.

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ETL processes, data migration, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Exposure to Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), or similar reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
