Your Role and Contributions

As a Software Developer Trainee, you will:
Design, implement, test, and refine software solutions that enhance Nokia’s Autonomous Networks portfolio.

Contribute to projects in cutting-edge areas like 5G Core, Radio Networks, AI/ML, and AIOps.

Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to develop scalable, high-quality code.

Embrace Agile and Lean development practices with a focus on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and product demos.

Continuously learn, adapt, and bring in ideas for technical and process improvements.

Eligibility and Required Skills

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or in final year of studies) in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.

Required Skills:
Interest in 5G technology, including Core and Radio domains.

Basic knowledge of AI/ML principles or AIOps/MLOps practices.

Familiarity or hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python.

Understanding of software development fundamentals and agile methodology.

Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Candidates with the following will stand out:
Knowledge of API design, cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure), and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with test automation tools like JUnit, Jest, Selenium, Robot Framework, Cucumber.

Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Gerrit.

Exposure to databases such as Neo4j, Oracle, MariaDB, or SQL variants.
