GE HealthCare is hiring a Software Engineer for its Installed Base team under the Patient Care Solutions division. The role focuses on maintaining, supporting, and enhancing existing monitoring solutions deployed across a global customer base. You will collaborate cross-functionally to resolve real-world, critical issues in live environments, contributing to improvements in healthcare delivery worldwide.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Debug and resolve production issues through deep code analysis and root cause identification.
• Work closely with service and product teams to address customer-reported issues.
• Develop patches, hotfixes, and minor enhancements for deployed applications.
• Document troubleshooting processes and resolutions clearly.
• Participate in global support calls and assist with critical incident handling.
• Continuously monitor and assess system performance using established product metrics.

🛠️ Tech Stack & Tools:

• Languages: Java (Strong in multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning)
• Debugging Tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ, JDB, Remote Debuggers
• Log Analysis: Splunk, ELK stack
• Version Control & CI/CD: Git, Jenkins or similar

🎓 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development/support roles.
