What you’ll do:

As a Software Quality Engineer at Adobe, you will:

- Develop and drive test strategies to ensure product quality.

- Ensure proper functionality and performance of the application.

- Collaborate closely with the development team to design and deliver key product features.

- Demonstrate a sense of complete ownership by automating assigned features end-to-end.

- Automate the Test Plan, Test Harness, Execution, Regression testing, and Defect management.

- Apply modern test methodologies and processes throughout the software development life cycle, contributing as an individual in an Agile team environment.

- Deliver quality product releases on schedule using risk analysis and defect containment practices, test automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Advocate for the customer and design/test from the customer viewpoint to ensure a positive product experience.

- Provide technical expertise to the projects.

- Contribute to growing the overall technical knowledge and expertise of the team.

- Take responsibility for the overall quality of the product.

What you need to succeed:

- Good knowledge of basic computer science fundamentals like Data Structures/Algorithms.

- Experience in automating Desktop products (Windows, Mac).

- Proficient in test design techniques and automation.

- Process-oriented with high attention to detail and good follow-through.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Good coding skills in any language or scripting language (e.g., C, C++, Javascript, Python is an added advantage).

- Hands-on experience working with Automation frameworks like Junit, Nunit, Selenium, Robotium, or any in-house automation/scripting experience is desirable.
