Role and Responsibilities:

As an Associate Engineer at BT Group, you will be involved in the following key areas:

1. Capacity Management:

   - Analyze production and manage the platform-specific capacity plan to meet forecast demand.

   - Address process issues associated with deployed platforms.

   - Consult key stakeholders, including Associate Network Planners and Technical Delivery Managers.

   - Implement planning rules at the device/network level.

2. Service Delivery Support:

   - Work on service delivery issue resolution across build functions.

   - Analyze bid requirements globally and provide comprehensive responses.

  

3. Network Build and Configuration:

   - Independently work on small projects involving the build and configuration of network components.

   - Manage orders to meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

4. Project Deployment:

   - Take a lead role in specific project deployments, reporting overall progress to key stakeholders.

   - Manage Vendors/Suppliers and Field engineering teams for global build deployments.

5. Database Management:

   - Update the master Global POP Information Database (GPID) after every deployment.

  

6. Problem Prevention and Continuous Improvement:

   - Proactively prevent problems by acting before they occur.

   - Manage the overall status of your workstack and address/escalate issues impacting order delivery.

   - Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement (CI) and drive successful implementations.

Skills Required:

- Understanding of BT’s Global networks and technologies.

- Excellent communication skills, able to adapt and articulate technical terminology for both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Good knowledge of networks/infrastructure and related network management, products, and services.
