Visa is hiring a Software Test Engineer to contribute to Open VisaNet, the next-generation payment processing platform designed for scalability, security, and cost efficiency. This initiative will help Visa transition from mainframe systems to open system architectures using cutting-edge technology.

As a Software Test Engineer, you will work with DevOps teams, software engineers, and security specialists to ensure high-quality software through automation and continuous testing.

Key Responsibilities
Develop test cases, execute tests, and report defects throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Work closely with DevOps teams for continuous testing and environment setup.

Implement and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.

Establish quality processes to ensure high standards in software development.

Participate in design discussions to provide input on functional requirements and product design.

Required Skills
Must-Have:
Experience: Minimum 6 months to 3 years in software testing.

Programming Knowledge: Proficiency in Java, C++, Golang, or Python.

Automation Tools: Experience with Selenium, Java, and Automation frameworks.

SDLC & DevOps: Familiarity with version control, build processes, and code release.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Good-to-Have:
Experience in distributed databases, distributed computing, and high-frequency transactions.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, testing in cloud environments.
