About the Internship

Join Primenumbers Technologies as an SDE/Data Engineering Intern and work at the intersection of AI, data engineering, and scalable software systems. You will contribute to building real-world AI products, optimize data workflows, and support a high-growth startup shaping India’s intelligence and analytics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

As an intern, your daily responsibilities will include:

Designing, building, and optimizing production-ready AI and data-led applications using vector databases, PostgreSQL, Python, React, and more.

Collaborating with product and QA teams to curate, clean, and prepare datasets for machine learning, analytics, and modeling workflows.

Implementing automated data quality checks and validation layers to maintain high data accuracy and reliability.

Working on backend and frontend modules that integrate large-scale data streams into the company’s intelligence platform.

Actively contributing to a rapidly growing startup with a strong product-market fit and an ambitious roadmap.

Monitoring pipeline performance and building internal utilities to automate data quality and operational checks.

Required Skills

Python and related frameworks

Django (or similar backend frameworks)

Linux command-line familiarity

Basic understanding of data engineering principles

Interest in AI, ML workflows, and data-intensive systems

Knowledge of frontend/backend frameworks (React, Django, etc.)

Preferred Candidate Profile

You’re a great fit if:

You have strong fundamentals in Python and product development.

You understand data engineering concepts such as pipelines, data quality, and storage systems.

You’ve worked with Django or similar technologies.

You are comfortable with Linux environments.

You have coursework or hands-on exposure to Artificial Intelligence (bonus).

You care deeply about clean code, scalability, and correct data.

You’re curious about how AI pipelines work end-to-end.

You enjoy ownership, fast-paced environments, and taking initiative.

Eligibility Criteria

Available for a full-time, in-office internship in Bangalore

Can join between 6th Dec 2025 – 10th Jan 2026

Available for the entire 6-month duration

Possess the required skills and genuine interest in SDE/Data Engineering
