About the Role:
Comscore is looking to hire a Systems Engineer to join its Product Operations team. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh graduates who are passionate about system monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support across Linux and Windows platforms. The role involves active surveillance of internal processing systems, executing ad-hoc jobs, and escalating issues when necessary to ensure smooth functioning of applications in production environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 1 support by monitoring applications across diverse platforms.

Track and respond to system health indicators using internal dashboards and tools.

Assist in troubleshooting first-level issues, escalating when required.

Support and maintain Big Data environments such as Hadoop, AWS, Greenplum, and others.

Execute and verify custom jobs and tasks within set timelines.

Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.

Continuously optimize processes, automate repetitive tasks, and improve alert systems.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (BE/BTech).

Recent graduates or final semester students are welcome to apply.

Skills & Competencies Required:
Basic understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.

Familiarity with SQL and ability to write simple queries.

Exposure to scripting languages, preferably Python.

Knowledge of command-line tools, XML, and file handling.

Hands-on experience or familiarity with JIRA and GIT tools.

Analytical thinking with a knack for problem-solving.

Strong communication skills with the ability to follow complex instructions.
