Role Purpose
The Test Engineer is responsible for creating and executing test cases to ensure the product/platform/solution meets 100% quality assurance standards before deployment at the client end.

Qualifications
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on testing experience.
- Over 1 year of experience writing SQL queries with a solid understanding of database structures.
- More than 1 year of experience testing API-driven systems using tools like Swagger and Postman.
- Over 2 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Onsite/Offshore).
- Proven expertise in engineering best practices for both functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Ability to estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Proficiency in identifying, recording, documenting, and tracking bugs.
- Experience working within an Agile methodology.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to report bugs and errors to development teams and take ownership of end-to-end task delivery.
- Routine generation and communication of project QA test status reports.
- Proficiency in identifying defects, troubleshooting, and tracking progress in Jira.
- Ability to communicate effectively with developers, scrum masters, business analysts, and QA leads regarding defects and blockers.
- Experience coaching and mentoring other team members.
- Commitment to improving product quality through continuous regression and exploratory testing.
