Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Test Engineer at Arcesium, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include:

- Testing a variety of products, including complex financial systems and sophisticated workflow systems.
- Conducting functional, performance, and security tests using both manual and automated testing approaches.
- Utilizing off-the-shelf test automation and performance testing tools, as well as in-house proprietary test automation frameworks.
- Collaborating closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues.
- Providing feedback and recommendations for product improvements based on testing results.

What You'll Need:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of software development/test experience with a proven track record of designing, developing, managing, and shipping products.
- Excellent coding and debugging skills.
- Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including functional, automation, performance, and API testing.
- Solid fundamentals in Algorithms, Data Structures, operating systems, and databases.
- Exposure to Selenium/RC for automated testing.
- Familiarity with CI (Continuous Integration) tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
- Experience with issue tracking tools like JIRA or similar platforms.
