Job Description:

Zensar Technologies is seeking enthusiastic and talented fresh Engineering graduates (BE/BTech) with a background in Information Technology or Computer Science. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work across multiple technology domains, including Windows and Virtualization, Networking, Databases (SQL and MySQL), Storage, and Backup.

- Perform proactive monitoring and health checks of IT systems.
- Address and resolve user tickets efficiently.
- Conduct remote troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Utilize targeted questioning to diagnose technical issues.
- Test various solutions until issues are resolved.
- Adhere to ITIL processes and customer-specific procedures.
- Collaborate with senior team members and peers.
- Work during customer business hours and be available for after-hours work if necessary.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support.
- Follow up with end-users to ensure issue resolution.
- Be willing to relocate to different Zensar locations as required.
- Manage ticket triage, categorization, prioritization, and assignment.
- Escalate major IT incidents as needed.
- Maintain AD user records, network share access, and account provisioning/termination.
- Provide high-quality customer service for both inbound and outbound calls.
- Ensure efficient and effective resolution of queries, striving for first-call resolution.
- Identify opportunities to inform users about additional value-added services.
- Participate in both formal and informal training sessions.
- Comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements for the role.
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for incidents and requests.
- Monitor the Service Desk queue, ensuring timely and professional handling of all tickets.
- Follow documented IT operational processes consistently to maintain high-quality IT service delivery.
- Strive to improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in initiatives to enhance the quality of service delivery.
- Engage actively in team and cultural changes within the Service Desk team.
- Adhere to information security policies.
- Be prepared to work in 24x7 rotational shifts as required by the role.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor or Team Lead of the Service Desk Team.

Eligibility Criteria:
- BE/BTech degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a relevant field.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to work in shifts and relocate if necessary.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus.
- High level of customer service orientation.
