Role Overview
As a Quality Engineer, you will support testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of reliable and efficient software solutions. This role involves collaborating with development teams, understanding business requirements, and leveraging testing tools and methodologies to achieve excellence. The position is ideal for individuals with a passion for continuous learning, automation, and ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate in sprint planning and requirement review sessions to understand project goals and expectations.
Translate business and technical requirements into test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
Evaluate the testability of requirements using documentation such as use cases, user stories, and solution design documents.
Set up and maintain testing environments for manual and automated testing.
Execute test sessions, analyze results, and identify edge cases to improve quality.
Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to drive quality in development processes.
Gather and document test result data, assign severity levels to defects, and escalate issues as needed.
Conduct root cause analyses and maintain accurate records of product investigations and analysis.
Generate regular test reports and metrics to track defects and monitor continuous improvement.
Recommend and implement strategies to enhance software testing effectiveness.
Collaborate with senior quality engineers to modernize and simplify testing tools and procedures.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Certifications
Certified Associate in Software Testing
Certified Software Quality Analyst
Certified Test Engineer

Work Experience
0-2 years of relevant experience in software/system testing and quality assurance.
