Job Description:

UPS is looking for a skilled Applications Developer to join our team in Chennai. This role is ideal for professionals with 2 to 6 years of experience in software development, system design, and application support. As an Applications Developer, you will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from system analysis and design to coding, testing, and deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications and stay updated with emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in systems analysis, design, and development of moderately complex applications.

Write, review, and maintain technical documentation for applications.

Develop, test, and deploy applications within planned timelines.

Implement integration builds and contribute to system maintenance and support.

Conduct unit testing, performance testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to process improvements.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience: 2-6 years of hands-on experience in application development.

Required Technical Skills:

Proficiency in .NET programming language.

Strong understanding of SQL and database management.

Good knowledge of data structures, application design patterns, and programming logic.

Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and code automation.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

Frontend development skills using Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Experience with NoSQL/Document Databases (Couchbase).

Knowledge of messaging systems (ActiveMQ) and application containerization (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift).

Exposure to public cloud platforms like Google Cloud or Azure.

Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a dynamic environment.
