Job Description for QA Automation Engineer:

JPMorgan Chase is offering an exciting opportunity for experienced QA Automation Engineers to advance their software engineering careers within the Corporate & Investment Bank Payments Technology Team. As a QA Automation Engineer III, you will be a key member of an agile team, designing and delivering market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Responsibilities:

As a QA Automation Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, your primary responsibilities will include:

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

To be eligible for the QA Automation Engineer role at JPMorgan Chase, you should possess:
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
- Experience in software development/testing, systems engineering, and/or architecture.
- Proficiency in automation testing, including test development, release, and maintenance across various types of testing such as Web, API, UI, functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, load, performance, and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with test automation tools/frameworks like Cucumber, Playwright, Selenium, JMeter, and Blazemeter.
- Experience in software development using Java or other high-level programming languages.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within technical disciplines like cloud, AI, machine learning, and mobile.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Additional qualifications that are preferred for this role include:
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) functions.
- Working knowledge of AWS development.
