Job Overview:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and curious Junior AI Developer to join our new engineering team in Kochi, India. This team focuses on accelerating digital transformation in the Source-to-Pay (S2P) domain by integrating advanced AI and data engineering solutions.
In this role, you’ll work with IBM Watsonx Orchestrate and other open-source AI frameworks to design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems that enhance procurement and accounts payable processes. You’ll collaborate with global cross-functional teams — including the Chief Data Office, CIO, and Consulting divisions — to turn real-world business challenges into AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of AI agents and automation tools within the Source-to-Pay ecosystem.
Support the creation and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL workflows under the guidance of senior developers.
Collaborate with international teams from S2P, CIO, and other departments to ensure smooth integration of AI capabilities into enterprise systems.
Participate actively in code reviews, sprint meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including code annotations, architecture diagrams, and process flows.
Continuously enhance your understanding of AI technologies and contribute to ongoing innovation initiatives.

Required Technical and Professional Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
Strong foundation in Python programming with knowledge of object-oriented concepts.
Basic understanding of SQL and database systems (through coursework or academic projects).
Awareness of data pipeline design, ETL processes, and general data flow principles.
Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — in English.
A collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn in a global, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

Exposure to IBM Watsonx Orchestrate or similar AI workflow platforms.
Hands-on experience with data mining, analytics tools, or AI-based projects.
Familiarity with open-source AI frameworks or APIs used in automation and process optimization.

Eligibility Criteria:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement).

Experience Level: Entry-level or recent graduate with relevant academic or internship exposure to AI, data, or software development.
