Role Summary:

The Technician plays a pivotal role in technical review, execution, maintenance, and customer support, ensuring adherence to standard procedures and timely completion of contract deliverables.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Manage, deliver, and support IT initiatives, identifying, designing, and implementing creative business and technology solutions for operational efficiency.

- Build relationships with business users, engage in day-to-day interactions with management, key application owners, and serve as a trusted IT adviser.

- Support key business applications throughout their lifecycle, from conception to transition to newer technologies.

- Develop a deep understanding of business and technical aspects, acquiring necessary functional skills for the role.

- Adhere to Flowserve policies and procedures, taking on additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

- Background as an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Programmer, or related occupation.

- Experience supporting diverse IT systems, familiarity with issue resolution processes, and 3rd-party resolution tools like Unisys.

- Involvement in full life-cycle application implementations, from requirements to production support.

- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills for non-technical business personnel.

- Excellent business engagement, organization, and communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a matrix team structure.

- BS or BA Degree in a relevant field and/or 0-2 years of relevant experience.
