We are currently seeking a talented Software Engineer Associate with expertise in Oracle Applications Database Administration (DBA) to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Database technologies, and related tools. Key Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer Associate at Infor, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Oracle Apps DBA Expertise: You will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle Applications databases, ensuring the health and performance of Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) environments.

2. Experience with Oracle EBS 12.1.3/12.2.x and Oracle Database 12C/19C (Multitenant): You will be working with multiple versions of Oracle EBS, including 12.1.3 and 12.2.x, as well as Oracle Database versions 12C and 19C, providing administration, installation, configuration, and support services.

3. Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and administer Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 and R12.2.x). You will be involved in setting up environments, configuring various components, and ensuring that everything is functioning optimally.

4. Upgrade Experience: Leverage your hands-on experience with upgrading Oracle EBS environments from scratch, ensuring smooth transitions and system stability.

5. Patching: You will be responsible for applying patches to various components of Oracle EBS, including databases (12C, 19C), WebLogic, middleware, and the EBS application itself. Experience with patching tools such as ADOP, ADPATCH, Opatch, adctrl, and the bsu utility will be critical for this role.

6. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues related to application patching, database patching, and system performance. Your ability to quickly diagnose and resolve problems will be essential in maintaining the reliability of systems.

7. User Management: Manage and maintain users within Oracle EBS and Oracle databases, ensuring proper access control and security measures are in place. Your role will include creating new users, modifying existing accounts, and managing permissions to ensure compliance with company policies.

8. Patching Tools Experience: Hands-on experience with EBS patching tools is required. You will use tools like ADOP (online patching in R12.2), ADPATCH (traditional patching), Opatch (Oracle database patching), adctrl, and the bsu utility to keep environments up-to-date and secure.
