Job Description:

Mastercard is actively seeking talented and detail-oriented Software Engineers to join the CrossBorder Services team in Pune. This role involves providing support for application software through various stages such as programming, analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer at Mastercard, your key responsibilities include:

- Programming, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and support of systems application software, adhering to MasterCard standards and best practices.

- Development of high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions based on technical requirements specifications.

- Researching, creating, and evaluating technical solution alternatives, staying informed about current and upcoming technologies and frameworks.

- Conducting feasibility studies, logic designs, detailed systems flowcharting, and cost and time analysis.

- Collaborating with the project team to meet scheduled due dates, addressing emerging issues, and providing solutions independently.

- Documenting software programs according to Software Development Best Practices.

- Assisting Senior Team members and contributing ideas to enhance standards and improve process efficiency.

- Supporting the collection and reporting of project and software metrics.

Eligibility:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

- Skills: Proficiency in developing APmicroservices using Sprintboot on Cloud, robust batch processes using Spring Batch, and integrating content feeds via API, JSON, XML, and RSS. Hands-on design and development experience on the Cloud, with exposure to AWS or Pivotal Cloud Foundry as an added advantage. Experience with front-end technologies like Angular or React is also beneficial.
