About the Opportunity:
Meta is hiring talented Software Engineers to join its Host Networking team in Bangalore. This team plays a crucial role in developing the network infrastructure that supports Meta’s expansive AI ecosystem. You will contribute to building the networking software and transport layers for Meta’s AI accelerators and manage the network interface cards (NICs) across a massive distributed fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain network drivers, firmware components, and RDMA-based transport layers.

Contribute to the creation of automated testing pipelines (CI/CD) for software releases.

Support system bring-up using simulation and emulation tools.

Assist with hardware testing and integration in large-scale environments.

Collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to ship high-performance networking solutions.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: BE/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Experience: Fresh graduates with relevant academic or internship experience are welcome to apply.

Required Skills:
Solid programming skills in C, C++, or Python.

Understanding of Linux internals, particularly kernel modules and networking.

Knowledge of transport protocols like RDMA (RoCEv2).

Familiarity with debugging tools for large-scale systems.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:
Experience working with QEMU or FPGA emulation environments is a plus.

Exposure to networking hardware and simulation/testing tools.
