Job Summary

MathWorks is looking for a motivated and talented software engineer to contribute to the core technology enabling automatic code generation from MATLAB and Simulink. As part of the Embedded Coder product team, you will work on developing innovative technologies and a scalable foundation for automatically generating code for embedded systems. The code generated by Embedded Coder is used in various real-life products worldwide, from cell phones to aircraft engines. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving challenging software problems involving compiler technologies.

Responsibilities

- Design innovative algorithms and integrate them into the code generation environment to enhance the quality of generated code.
- Participate in all aspects of software development, including requirements gathering, specification writing, coding, testing, and customer support.
- Quickly master numerous features in Simulink products and dive into a large codebase.

Minimum Qualifications

- Experience with object-oriented design.
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience).

Additional Qualifications .

- Knowledge of modern compiler technologies.
- Strong abstraction and algorithmic skills.
- Experience working with a large codebase.
- Strong communication skills.
