🎯 Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in data engineering or big data development roles.
- Proficient in SQL and at least one of Python or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Spark.
- Familiarity with Delta Lake, Parquet, and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Experience in performance tuning and managing big data pipelines.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Spark.
- Implement scalable, high-performance data workflows to process and transform massive data sets.
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to support ML models, feature engineering, and pipeline automation.
- Perform tuning and optimization for Spark jobs and Databricks notebooks.
- Ensure data quality with built-in validation, error handling, and monitoring strategies.
- Contribute to MLOps practices such as model versioning, CI/CD integration, and production deployment.
- Work across different layers of data engineering from ingestion to serving models.
🧠 Required Skills
Primary:
- Expertise in Azure Data Services, particularly Data Factory and Databricks.
- Strong programming background in SQL, Python, or Scala.
- Deep understanding of Spark for distributed computing and data transformation.
- Knowledge of file formats such as Parquet, Delta Lake.
Performance & Optimization:
- Proven ability in pipeline optimization, Spark performance tuning, and cost-efficient design.
- Familiarity with feature stores and model deployment workflows.
Analytical & Communication:
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Clear and effective communication within cross-functional teams.

- Exposure to AI/ML domains: NLP, anomaly detection, time series forecasting.
- Understanding of MLOps tools for monitoring and deployment.
