Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies (AWS/PCF).
• Contribute to the full software lifecycle, from development and testing to deployment and ongoing support.
• Drive adoption of modern software engineering practices within the team and across the organization.
• Actively participate in architecture discussions and provide input for scalable and secure solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Ops, Dev, and QA—to identify and resolve performance, reliability, and design issues.
• Support a DevOps-driven environment, ensuring smooth deployment and operational readiness of applications.
• Engage with product owners, architects, and agile coaches to deliver innovative engineering solutions.
• Promote knowledge sharing and mentor team members to build technical expertise within the engineering community.
• Stay informed about evolving tools, technologies, cybersecurity measures, and compliance standards related to data privacy and governance.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Proven experience in software engineering with a focus on delivering enterprise-grade products.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, APIs, and microservices.
• Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in production support and incident management.
• Passion for open-source technologies and collaborative ways of working.
• Ability to influence stakeholders with clear reasoning and strong technical credibility.
• Demonstrated skills in writing testable, high-quality, and scalable code.
• Proficiency with agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with globally distributed teams.
