Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve production issues to reduce downtime and enhance user experience.
• Develop real-time observability and monitoring solutions to track KPIs and system health.
• Work with product delivery teams to analyze root causes of issues and design sustainable fixes.
• Ensure resilience and scalability across consumer-facing web and mobile applications.
• Report meaningful metrics and insights to leadership, showcasing the value of reliability in business outcomes.
• Manage IT service processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot consumer issues and optimize performance.
• Lead initiatives to improve cloud-based microservices and ensure high availability on platforms like AWS.
• Foster a culture of growth through mentorship, coaching, and knowledge sharing across the engineering community.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. (1–3 years of relevant professional experience can substitute).
• Experience with backend development in Java, Node.js, or similar languages.
• Exposure to front-end frameworks (React, Angular) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with modern programming languages like Scala, Python, or Golang preferred.
• Strong understanding of DNS, networking, Linux, and virtualization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, or serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Cassandra) and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in observability and DevOps tools: ServiceNow, Jira, Jenkins, Splunk, New Relic, SignalFX.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to bridge technical and business objectives.
