Job Description

Cornerstone is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Junior Engineer Interns from the 2025 graduating batch to join our Quality Engineering (QE) team in Hyderabad. This internship offers hands-on experience in software testing and automation while working on our flagship product, Immerse.

As a Junior Engineer Intern, you will undergo structured training in product functionality, test automation, and testing tools like TestRail, and work under the guidance of experienced QE leads to contribute to product quality and release cycles.

This is an exciting opportunity for students who are passionate about quality assurance, testing, and automation and wish to build a strong foundation in software quality engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Quality Engineering team to perform functional, regression, and automation testing for the Immerse product.

Gain in-depth knowledge of product features, testing methodologies, and automation frameworks.

Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Work with APIs and contribute to automated web service testing.

Learn and use TestRail and other internal tools for test management and documentation.

Work closely under the mentorship of a QE Lead to participate in testing cycles and improve test efficiency.

Follow best practices for software testing, coding, and quality assurance processes.

Required Skills

Basic understanding of web technologies – HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Working knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.

Familiarity with front-end automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright (preferred).

Understanding of API testing and experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or C#).

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: B.E / B.Tech / MCA students graduating in 2025.

Experience: Freshers (no prior work experience required).

Strong interest in Quality Engineering (QE) and Software Testing.

Additional testing certifications (if any) are an added advantage.
