About the Role

We’re looking for curious, passionate Android Developers who love building great mobile experiences. As SDE I – Android, you will work on modern Android technologies, clean architecture, scalable app design, and testable code bases. You’ll collaborate with a world-class team of engineers, PMs, and designers to ship features that impact millions of users daily.

What You Will Do

Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and contribute to architectural discussions.

Fix bugs, optimize performance, and improve application stability.

Design and implement new Android features, enhancements, and UI/UX improvements.

Collaborate closely with Design, QA, Product Management, and Backend teams.

Work with cross-functional teams to plan, build, test, and ship new capabilities.

Mentor interns and support junior team members.

Contribute to refactoring efforts, modularization, and best coding practices.

What You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree in BE/BTech/BCA/BSc (any technical discipline).

1+ year of experience in Android development.

Hands-on experience building at least two Android apps.

Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and the Android ecosystem.

Understanding of Material Design, modern mobile UX patterns, and UI/UX best practices.

Experience with popular Android libraries — Retrofit, OkHttp, RxJava, Picasso, Gson, Architecture Components, etc.

Familiarity with REST APIs, version control (Git), and CI pipelines.

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, multithreading, and concurrency.

Experience with advanced concepts — Custom Views, Accessibility Services, background processing APIs.

Knowledge of modern architecture patterns such as MVVM and ability to write testable code.

Strong debugging skills (memory leaks, performance issues) using tools like ADB, Profiler, Proguard.

Ability to differentiate between good and poor design and write clean, maintainable code.

Published apps on the Google Play Store are a plus.
