Description for Associate Software Engineer: 
As an Associate Software Engineer at Cloud Software, you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest engineering minds and work on cutting-edge technology in the field of On-premise networking & security. Your responsibilities will include implementing solutions based on the Layer7 proxy in Citrix On-premise Gateway product, participating in an Agile development and testing environment, and contributing to quality and process improvements throughout the development lifecycle. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
- Collaborate with the engineering team to work on cutting-edge technology in On-premise networking & security. 
- Implement solutions based on the Layer7 proxy in Citrix On-premise Gateway product. 
- Participate in Agile development and testing environments. 
- Contribute to quality and process improvements throughout the development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications: 
- Bachelors/Masters in CS/EC/EE with 1-3 years of experience. 
- Hands-on experience in implementing large complex size products in the area of Networking & Security. 
- Proficient in C/C++. Working knowledge of JavaScript is a plus. 
- Strong system-level knowledge of Linux. 
- Knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP) and other protocols like HTTP/S, DNS, SSL/TLS, etc. 
- Expertise in data structures and algorithms. 
- Debugging skills like GDB, core dump analysis. 
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. 
- Good team player with cross-organizational skills. 

Preferred Skills: 
- Ability and willingness to multi-task and learn new technologies quickly. 

Education: 
- Requires a Full-time degree in Engineering (Preferably Computer Science/EC related field).
