As an Associate Technical Support Engineer at PowerSchool, you will be part of a dynamic team providing technical support for their acclaimed K-12 software systems. Reporting to a supervisor or manager, this role demands a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality technical solutions. The position involves thorough proficiency in all aspects of the application software, enabling you to analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software or system-related issues through various communication channels such as chat, telephone, and written internet-based communication.

Responsibilities:
- Perform logical analysis of customer issues related to software functionality, incident resolution, and systems configuration.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the product(s) to investigate customer queries and issues effectively.
- Offer support for application, back-end, and technical issues, guiding customers in understanding product functionality and outputs.
- Collaborate within a team environment to meet customer expectations for issue resolution.
- Identify repetitive customer issues and provide internal feedback for product improvement.
- Communicate effectively in written and spoken English with co-workers and customers globally.
- Complete periodic training provided by the company, taking responsibility for ongoing learning related to the position.
- Contribute value-added services to customers, demonstrating customer-centricity and urgency for sensitive issues.

Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in a customer or technical support role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Must-have Qualities:
- Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with genuine empathy toward customers.
- Demonstrable time management and priority-setting skills.
- Effective collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Confidence in communicating with customers through various channels in a hybrid environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts (primarily evening/night shift) and on weekends/holidays based on business requirements.
- Certifications and/or basic experience with SQL, Unix, Oracle are desired.

Added Advantage:
- Knowledge of Mongo DB, HTML.
- Experience or understanding of the education sector.
