Eurofins is seeking a dynamic and talented Java Developer to join our team. As an Associate Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building high-performing, scalable enterprise-grade applications. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and implementing new applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the effective utilization of Java/Java EE applications.

Skills Required:
- 0-1 years of experience.
- Proven working experience in Java development.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
- Strong understanding of API technologies such as Spring Boot, Microservices.
- Profound insight into Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.).
- Experience with JAVA AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, MS-SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
- Experience in developing web applications using popular web frameworks (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
- Hands-on experience with UI technologies and frameworks is an added advantage (Angular, React).
- Understanding of laboratory processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of Labvantage software is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Design and propose new solutions to lab processes.
- Ensure designs meet specifications and produce software releases.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternative technologies.
- Develop system enhancements and document processes.
- Attend to update requests and tickets, including coding, testing, and deployment.
- Investigate and escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge.
- Perform application/product releases to production environments with minimum downtime.
- Manage live systems, perform system monitoring, and conduct monthly audits.
- Generate reports based on lab requirements.
